Our Core Values

Our core values express our shared beliefs and commitments. They represent our central passion and direct all of our activities. These are the essential aspects of who we are as a church.

Word of God:

We value Biblical teaching and preaching. God's Word is the authority for our faith and living. We dedicate ourselves to knowing the Bible's teachings, obeying its instruction, and communicating its contents.

Family of God:

We value covenant relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We love one another and share in each other's lives. We help one another, care for one another, pray for one another, and encourage one another. We dedicate ourselves to loving, strong, personal relationships and to welcoming others into our community of faith.

Worship:

We value giving honor to the Lord God Almighty and coming together to glorify Him. We dedicate ourselves to genuine, free, and devoted worship of God.

“Forsake not the gathering of yourselves together...” Hebrews 10:25

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks” John 4:23

Prayer:

We value fellowship with God. We dedicate ourselves to earnest, persistent prayer.

“And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” John 14:13-14
“And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ” Colossians 4:3

Message of Hope:

We value the Gospel message of Jesus Christ as the hope of all people. We dedicate ourselves to helping all people know God, come to salvation through Jesus Christ, and reach fullness in Him according to the Gospel.

Pursuit of Excellence:

We value giving God our best as a way of honoring Him. We pursue excellence in our service, not pridefully that we may be honored, but humbly so that He may be. We dedicate ourselves to excellence in virtue, in work, and in worship.
